记得去年购买hawkhost独立ip还是$2每月，现在已经涨到$3了，这是全球ip资源紧张引起的，而且godaddy的独立ip价格也涨了。虽然涨价了，但还是有很多人需要的。另外，以前购买独立ip，直接在购买主机的流程中就可以选择购买了，但是现在已经没有独立ip的选项。于是，我开通主机后，又向官方提交ticket，询问如何购买独立ip。官方的答复如下：

Due to IPv4 exhaustion we require justification for all dedicated IP purchases. May I know what this IP will be used for？

大意是说：因为ip资源紧张，所以需要有正当的理由才能够购买。你使用独立ip是为了做什么用。

我考虑了一下，于是答复：

I need dedicated IP.Because I later will have to use SSL，and great wall of china will try ban foreign share ip. Please as soon as possible treatment. Thank you.

hawkhost答复说：

If you are going to be using this for SSL please provide us the certificate you will be installing for verification.

大意是说：如果要使用SSL，请提供数字证书。我当然现在没有了，于是回答说：

Later may use， but not now.

hawkhost答复：

Until you have the certificate we cannot provide you a dedicated IP.

大意是说：除非你提供数字证书，否则不能提供独立ip。

目前来看，hawkhost基本已经不批准独立ip了，所以需要独立ip的用户还是选择其他品牌空间，但是hawkhost的稳定性和服务确实还是不错的。
